Welcome Summertime! You have arrived to your destination - Des Moines, Washington. Whether you came by sea or by land, this quiet, small town is a wonderful haven to explore. The amenities within the Des Moines Marina district provide the majority of needs and wants;: specialty stores, sit-down dining to 'dine and dash' to services for your health and well-being.
Des Moines is a laid back, slow paced town, accessible to the faster paced cities of Seattle and Tacoma. The businesses and services within the marina district are varied and all offer you personal attention that often gets lost in larger, chain stores. Please stop and check out the events calendar. There are a variety of classes offered from the specialty stores as well as weekly wine tasting at Corky Cellars.

Several of the merchants have gotten together and created a page of Same-Day Receipt Offer for you!.

Get your toe-tapping or dancing shoes on and head over to the church on Sunday, August 8 to see this up-beat and entertaining rhythm and blues band. This all-female band provides smokin’ hot music with a lead singer who belts it out like Bonnie Raitt and a youthful electric guitar player who plays jaw-dropping guitar solos. Sister Wives, a Salt Lake City band, is concluding their NW tour at DMUMC.
Tickets at $12/advance and $15/door. Tickets can be purchased at the church office during the week and in the church lobby on Sundays. All profits go to support youth missions and music ministry. For more information of Sister Wives.
