THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT!  Since we opened in 1999 we have been lucky to have great customers who have all become friends.  In this economy we will do our best to keep finding wines that are of exceptional quality but won't break the bank.  We know we can't compete with the 'big guys' so will always be looking for selections that are unique and you know that we have tried them before we offer them to you.

Ric, Dianne, Keith & Lori opened CorkyCellars on November 1, 1999. The idea came from sitting on a porch enjoying a glass of wine and talking about how much fun it would be to have a wine shop. The subject kept coming up, a name emerged, and we all said, "Let's look into it or quit talking about it!"

Well, we found a great location, filled out the paper work to get the licenses, formed an LLC and started working on making the dream a reality; painting, stenciling, building, lining up wines and gifts. We were off and running.

In July of 2001 the opportunity to double in size came up, so an arch was cut into the wall, more painting, building and buying took place and we opened a larger tasting room and added more wine, gifts and accessories

In 2003 Keith and Lori had the opportunity to realize another one of their dreams, and moved to their home in Chelan.

Ric & Dianne both have years of experience in retail. The love of wine came about through sharing wine with friends. As our tastes grew, we added a small wine room onto our house. From there learning more about different wines was a natural next step. Now we have the opportunity to share some of what we have learned through our Saturday tastings and visiting with our wonderful clientele. The learning never stops and we enjoy the challenge of researching a question if we don't know the answer.
